Sun Corporation Fabricators & Engineers, trading as Sun Railings, carried out handrail work for Hyderabad Metro Rail through L&T Construction between 2013 and 2021. The work covers station handrails at platform level and concourse level, entry and exit points, internal staircases, escalator and staircase surrounds, and toilet ramps, across the Stage 1–6 stations and the Uppal and Miyapur depots. The railings combine mild steel and stainless steel, with glass railing at some locations. L&T work orders record fabrication, erection and handing over of handrails and entry and exit structures for the Stage 5 stations, and site fit-up and welding of stainless steel and mild steel railings for Stage 6. Package references are listed in the table below.
