Staircase glass railing transforms an ordinary staircase into a design feature. Sun Railings manufactures glass staircase railing for straight, L-shaped, U-shaped and helical staircases — residential villas, duplex apartments, commercial offices, hotels and institutional buildings.
Staircase glass railing is one of our most requested products — and the one where the difference between toughened glass and laminated glass matters most. For straight staircases in dry indoor locations toughened glass is fine. For staircases in public buildings, near children, or in any location where a broken panel falling is a risk — we recommend laminated glass. It holds together when broken. The hardware comes in spigot point fixtures in stainless steel, slim aluminium channels anodised or powder-coated, or PVD finish. We size the glass panels to your exact stair geometry — curved, helical or straight.

Straight Staircase Glass Railing
SS304 posts at 1000 to 1200mm centres with 12mm toughened glass panels following the rake angle of the stair. Most common configuration. Available in frameless, semi-frameless and post-supported variants.

Curved or Helical Staircase Glass Railing
Custom-curved glass panels and bent SS posts for circular or helical staircases. Each panel is individually sized and curved using a heat-bending process. Requires detailed site measurement and 6 to 8 week fabrication.

SS Post Staircase Glass Railing
SS round or square posts at close centres (800 to 1000mm) with 10mm or 12mm glass infill. Structural SS post handles the raking load and glass provides the barrier. Suitable for residential and commercial staircases.

Mono Stringer Glass Staircase
